Norman Reedus Angry About What Happened To That Walking Dead Character Too

If you haven’t watched the last few episodes of The Walking Dead, you may want to before reading this article. There are some spoilers below, click away if you haven’t watched the latest episodes.

A few episodes ago, Glenn appeared to be disemboweled by a horde of zombies. Fans not surprisingly went crazy over the apparent death of Glenn.

Since the episode where Glenn supposedly died, fans have hoped that he was somehow able to survive the very unlucky situation that he was in. Glenn fell off of a shipment container when Nicholas shot himself in the head, causing Glenn to fall with him.

Some have speculated that it was Nicholas’ guts that viewers were seeing rather than Glenn’s. That is pretty unlikely for a number of reasons, but most obviously, the zombies wouldn’t ignore Glenn just because Nicholas’ body is partially covering his.

The producer of The Walking Dead, Scott M. Gimple, gave a statement to fans after Glenn’s death.

“…So I’ll say this: In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story to help complete the story.”

The statement certainly did not give anyone hope that Glenn was somehow still alive. Instead, it further confirmed that Glenn is indeed dead.

Not only are fans upset over losing Glenn, but Norman Reedus–who plays Daryl Dixon–said that he was “pissed” over the show’s loss. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reedus shared his thoughts on the whole situation.

“I had the same reaction. He’s such a beloved character and such a good friend of mine. You know, I saw what I saw in that episode. And I was in that episode. And I was still pissed off at the end of the episode.”

At the end of the latest episode, a voice is heard on Daryl’s radio asking for help. Viewers had hoped that it was Glenn, but Norman Reedus put those hopes to rest saying it was likely someone from Alexandria.
